MX 84

We’re experiencing issues with Microsoft Teams on devices connected behind the MX84. Despite removing all restrictions, incoming call notifications are still not working—it shows as missed calls. We’ve also tested by connecting directly to the Meraki device, but the issue persists.

Ensure you're not blocking any of the required Teams IP's/Ports.
I suggest also setting up a firewall rule for the optimizations.

Other than that, is the issue only seen when behind the MX84?

Thank you, I have placed allow all rule as Rule 1 and tested. Still the same.

Also removed all Security restriction. NO luck

How many users do you have simultaneously connected to MX? How fast is your internet connection?

Have you contacted support?

I am not a Cisco Meraki employee. My suggestions are based on documentation of Meraki best practices and day-to-day experience.

Yes we have contacted Support. almost 200 users.

They suggested to reset and try, Also with Failover. Result is same.

Well, you're working almost at the recommended user limit. Maybe you should consider upgrading to a larger MX.

Have you checked to make sure your MX isn't experiencing excessive usage?

Also make sure you are running a current stable version of the firmware.  Note that the MX84 is too old to run the latest stable version - but it might prompt an upgrade to what is available to it.

Do you reckon for us to test replacing MX 84 with 67C and test if this is to do with MX84 device itself?

we have a Spare 67C

Thanks

Getting noticed

The MX67's Use Case Recommendations are 50 devices, so if you connect 200 devices, it may exceed its capacity.

https://documentation.meraki.com/MX/MX_Sizing_Information/MX_Sizing_Principles#Use_Case_Recommendati...

The MX84's Recommended Device Count is 200 devices based on the datasheet, so the number of connections may be too much.

https://documentation.meraki.com/MX/MX_Overviews_and_Specifications/MX84_Datasheet#Context_and_Compa...

It may be a good idea to try it with a successor model such as the MX85 using a trial. The MX85's recommended connection limit is 250 devices, so there should be no problem.
