MX 100 wan2 interface config

Hello! I'm trying to configure the wan2 interface on the MX 100. I set a static IP correctly but the interface status stills shows 'Not connected'. Am I missing any steps?

Have you done the below:

Setting up secondary WAN interface (dual WAN)

You can toggle the LAN2 port between LAN and Internet, through Uplink configuration under the Local status tab.

What happens if you connect your PC to the WAN port on the ISP's routers?  Do you get connectivity?

I toggled the LAN2 port to Internet already.

Havent tried connecting PC to wan port on router yet. Need to go onsite for that.

Sounds like a potential Layer 1 issue then if you've already done the first part.

Anyone on site who can do the legwork for you?

@DarrenOC apologies for the delay, been busy with another project

 I'm thinking the same. There's no tech savvy users onsite. Will need to schedule some time next week to look into it
