MERAKI MX SNMP V2 POLLING CENTERITY

Hi,

I configured SNMP V2 on the MX in front of our CENTERITY system. The CENTERITY and MX system in different networks. can it work ?  Do I need to open ports from the outside into the MX?

You can configure it under Security & Sd-WAN -> firewall

Under the heading "WAN appliance services", SNMP is listed with a box to enter the public IP's that the MX will respond to SNMP requests.

When enabled, the MX will respond to SNMP polling on its LAN ports.

I don't know how the Centerity solution is deployed but assuming it's on your private network and can route to the MX's IP address, it should be fine.

The CENTERITY is on another network and reaches the WAN of the MX and is not on the LAN network of my MX. Can it work from outside MX? Do I need to open ports from CENTERITY to MX
