Load balancing issues

Folks ...We encountered frequent disconnection issues while using Citrix Workspace on a network with load balancing enabled. After disabling load balancing as part of our troubleshooting process, the disconnections stopped. However, the setup works fine in other offices where load balancing is still active. Is there a potential correlation between the load balancing configuration and these disconnection issues that you can think of?

It is quite common for some applications to not behave well when load balancing is active, a classic example are bank sites, so I believe it may be the case with Citrix Workspace.

I am not a Cisco Meraki employee. My suggestions are based on documentation of Meraki best practices and day-to-day experience.

Are you using Citrix's cloud controller or the on premise version?  When we moved to the cloud controller we had to change a setting  in Citrix to stop frequent disconnections, it worked well after that.  The setting was in the management side (in Director from memory) and was hidden, but could be accessed.  I'll see if I can remember the rest of the details!  If it isn't using the cloud control suite then it always worked fine for us with load balancing!
