Is Dynamic VLAN Assignment Supported on MX LAN Ports?

Hello Meraki Community!

I’m looking for documentation or guidance on configuring Dynamic VLAN Assignment (DVA) using RADIUS authentication with Cisco ISE as the RADIUS server. From what I’ve found so far, it appears this may not be supported on Meraki MX appliances.

I have several small remote sites that each use an MX75 along with a single Meraki MR, and I’m hoping to determine whether it’s possible to enable DVA on a few of the MX’s wired LAN ports.

Any insights or documentation would be greatly appreciated!

No, it's not supported on the MX.

I am not a Cisco Meraki employee. My suggestions are based on documentation of Meraki best practices and day-to-day experience.

Please, if this post was useful, leave your kudos and mark it as solved.

As said above, dynamic VLAN assignment isn't supported on the MX.

It is however supported on switches and access points
