IDS Cause Timeout on Large Downloads from Microsoft, Apple

On our MX100 network, Intrusion Detection and Prevention in Prevention mode with Security ruleset causes large downloads from Microsoft and Apple to timeout. If I disable IDP, the downloads work. This has been verified with support under a previous case. At their suggestion, I have to disable IDP everytime I try to download an ISO from Microsoft or iOS through iTunes. Anyone else have this issue?

Although not this specific issue, I have seen this issue with downloads in general.  I specific fix for the issue was released in the 14.53 firmware.  I see this is now a stable release candidate, so I would move to that version if you are not using something newer already.
