Hostnames / MAC addresses in the dashboard

Hi, we just deployed Meraki and a LOT of our devices  - mostly Windows - are showing up in the Dashboard as just MAC addresses and not their hostname, how can I fix it all at once rather than editing each device and changing MAC to hostname?

Thanks.

Other than manually specifying a client's name in the Dashboard, this is not currently configurable.   https://documentation.meraki.com/General_Administration/Cross-Platform_Content/Rename_a_Client's_Hos...

Note that, if you use user-based enterprise 802.1x authentication, then the username associated with the login (shown under the User field in the clients list) can be an alternative way of finding the clients you're interested in.

And for a little more info on how dashboard chooses a client device name https://documentation.meraki.com/General_Administration/Cross-Platform_Content/Rename_a_Client's_Hos...
