If the Sophos Firewall, is connected in front of the Meraki MX, and you connect your own computer to the LAN of the Meraki MX, you'll need to ensure that you have unique subnets on your Sophos LAN (Meraki WAN), and the Meraki LAN.

Meraki can't handle having the same subnet on both WAN and LAN.

Meraki equipment cannot be managed by SSH or Telnet. They are designed to be cloud managed via the dashboard.

You can connect to it via HTTP but that only provides a few simple options required to get it online and connected to the Internet.

Thank you for that information. I appreciate it. I noticed that when I connected MX68 in parallel to Sophos firewall I was unable to login to Sophos but I can access the MX68. The Sophos is the Upstream to the MX68. So how can I log in to the Sophos firewall from the MX68. Before I connect the MX68 to the Sophos firewall, I can https to the Sophos IP address. What do I need to check?

Verify your MX firewall rules aren't blocking access to the Sophos web console IP and port.

Other than that, did you change any other configuration on the Sophos such as the IP or zone?

Please how can I verify this? I did not change any configuration in Sophos.
