Gaps in Event Log + connectivity issues!

Hi,

 

I am seeing gaps in the event log occasionally for example yesterday from 14:52 to 00:16:-

 

Oct 17 00:16:57 Non-Meraki / Client VPN negotiationmsg: no configuration found for 6.1.0.25.
Oct 16 14:52:07 Non-Meraki / Client VPN negotiationmsg: IPsec-SA established: ESP/Transport

 

Any ideas what could be causing this and how to fix it?

 

We have also experienced connectivity issues to the cloud the MX is going down around 2AM BST around the time a few Client VPN users connect in. It's happened twice on the first occasion is went down for 15 min but the second occasion it was 90 minutes! I am fairly confident it's not the uplink going down but the MX itself as we never had these issues running our Cisco ASA firewall.

 

When the link goes down we get events were not logged entries, is there a way of seeing these errors? Do I need to setup a syslog server?

 

Oct 17 00:19:19 Events dropped938 events were not logged. [Help]
