will updating MX firewall affect existing configurations on my Meraki?
It shouldn't change existing config but it might add some new options set to defaults

I understand as @cmr suggested there shall not be any affect on the Firewall Configuration.
However firmware upgrade process may impact the network momentarily.

Thanks for the link, I did wonder why our switch upgrades didn't happen when we first asked for them, now I know there is a 20 minute delay!
