Does Meraki offer the same function as RVXXX Cisco router?

I have a need for VPN router for remote access that will allow Lan access for control of on-site devices.

Does this unit allow easy IP internet setup and with 3 ethernet ports, pass 100mb speed.

The last time I researched this unit the subscription cost was too high for my projects. Has something changed?

If the subscription was too high last time, it will likely be the same now ...

Remote access VPN got better with AnyConnect compared to the past, but it still doesn't have the flexibility from a Cisco ASA/FTD.

I would say no change yet !

Is that a "Not recommended" replacement for standard VPN router?

Compared to an RV router, it has about a million times more capability.  They aren't even really on the same page.  Hence the cost difference.

Also, to the best of my knowledge, Cisco no longer sells the RV product line.  It has been discontinued.
