Data Flow Count Difference Between MX450 and MX600
Hi folks,
I could not find any clue if the maximum count of data flow that MX450 and MX600 can handle are the same or different. Is there anyone who guides me through the right documentation, or who can answer this?
Thanks in advance.

Hi, the current performance capabilities of the MX devices are listed here:
https://documentation.meraki.com/MX/MX_Sizing_Information/MX_Sizing_Principles
Unfortunately, the MX600 is no longer listed there as it is out of sale, but if I remember the datasheet correctly it was capable of handling 1gbps VPN traffic with a maximum of 5000 tunnles, right?
So the increase in performance with the MX450 compared to the MX600 is significant.

The MX sizing doc has info about concurrent sessions and throughput.
https://documentation.meraki.com/MX/MX_Sizing_Information/MX_Sizing_Principles
I don't think maximum sessions was noted when the mx600 was included in the guide (before going EOL).
With that said, I would expect an MX450 on recent firmware to perform as well as if not better than an MX600

The MX 600 was discontinued and replaced by the MX450. Both have equivalent characteristics,

Thanks guys for your help. However I need data flow counts that these MXs can handle, like in thousand or million. This info is not included in datasheet or sizing doc. Can we somehow get this info?

It is generally understood that the MX450 has significant performance improvements over the MX600. I suggest you contact Meraki directly.
