Content filter blocking wrong sites

Hi
Not sure if this is affecting anyone else. However, the content filter suddenly started blocking meraki.com, office365, google, and other sites we use daily.

Because even meraki.com is blocked we had to use external connection to troubleshoot the issue. We removed Parked Domain filter category and added sites to white list to resolve the issue.

Comedy gold.  You should open a support case over that one.

I did sent in a case. reply was

"Unfortunately, I am not sure why Parked Domain would block those domains.

Although, It does not show me anything specific that meraki.com and office 365 are blocked by that category.

I would recommend you to upgrade your MX's firmware once and out the category back into the content filtering to test it."

Are you kidding me? I sent them the logs which states meraki.com and office is blocked by content filter...

I have to say this year I'm really disappointed about Meraki support. seems like update firmware is the standard line for all the tickets I sent in.

We were affected by the stack member reboot issue. Response was please update to beta firmware. No explanation, no workaround, just update... unfortunately,  we are not allowed to install beta firmware. So we basically left with a crippled switch stack.

Anyway just ranting, maybe they are going through some growing pains with this whole working from home thing. Just hope Meraki can get better at support soon... before upper management decide switch vendors...
