Content Filtering URL allowed not working

I have blocked Social Networking in content filtering. I have a user who needs to use Pinterest. I added it to the URL allow list but when they go to the site, it just loads a white screen. Am I missing something? i really dont want to allow all social networking across the network

Kind of a big deal

Hi,

Sometimes, websites like Pinterest use multiple domains and subdomains. Make sure you've allowed all necessary URLs associated with Pinterest.

I am not a Cisco Meraki employee. My suggestions are based on documentation of Meraki best practices and day-to-day experience.

Please, if this post was useful, leave your kudos and mark it as solved.

Getting noticed

As @alemabrahao said, allowing the main url will not allow the full site, since most sites like that use multiple domains/urls to load a page. Doing a search I found the following list of sites needed.

Note: I didn't test this so there could be others that are required.

pinterest.com
pinimg.com

pinterest.net
pin.it
pinterestmail.com
pinterest.co.uk

Open the Chrome developer tools with CTRL+SHIFT+I and got to the "Sources" tab.

Type in your URL.  This will show all the other domains that it requires.  All of these need to be allowed.
