Compatible T-Mobile or AT&T USB Modems for the Z3?

Good day, friends.

Does anybody know of a known-working USB Modem that works with T-Mobile or AT&T and is compatible with the Z3 device?

I see a few listed on the compatibility page, but the moment I saw "3G/4G" written at the top without any mention of LTE, I had a sinking feeling that my odds at finding something that will actually work and is fairly modern, are pretty low.

Then seeing the line stating:

New USB modem approvals are currently on hold until further notice. All ongoing evaluations for USB modems will be updated on this page as soon as completed. We recommend to upgrade to the integrated/MG models for cellular connectivity and reach out to your sales contact.

also made me very sad. We just acquired this about a year ago.

This worked OK with Verizon when we first got it, but they've made some service related changes in the area that dropped their signal to zero. T-Mobile and AT&T works great in their building, and I even tested using my own little travel router that does Hotspot Sharing and plugged that sucker in the WAN port of the Z3 and it worked decently. I'd love to find a USB Modem specifically so that I can use the failover capabilities that the Z3 has.

If I get lucky and find something, is there also a way to change the failover wait time? The customer has reported it takes about 10 minutes for it to failover and I'd love to adjust that if it's possible.

Thank you!

If you are in the US, I don't think you have any options left.  The US Government banned the manufacturers (China-based).

Your only option left is to use a cellular router, like the MG21:

Or an MX with built-in cellular, like the MX67C:
