Cannot Stop vMX100 on Azure

Hello,

i'm trying a vMX100 on azure, but since i have a pay as you go and it is a trial, i'd like to stop the vm and start it when i want to try it, so i can save costs.

I tried to stop the vm but i get this error:

Executed stop command on 1 selected items
10:50 AM
Succeeded: 0, Failed: 1, Canceled: 0.
Error details
vMXTrial: The client '****************' with object id '*********' has permission to perform action 'Microsoft.Compute/virtualMachines/deallocate/action' on scope '/subscriptions/***/resourceGroups/***/providers/Microsoft.Compute/virtualMachines/vMXTrial/deallocate'; however, the access is denied because of the deny assignment with name 'System deny assignment created by managed application /subscriptions/ea33b395-69f6-4b24-aa4e-9af284984e8f/resourceGroups/vMXTrialResourceGroup/providers/Microsoft.Solutions/applications/e66f5b3b08274953a0be4cd24e589cc6' and Id '1e736d58247040fb87937258620c67b0' at scope '/subscriptions/ea33b395-69f6-4b24-aa4e-9af284984e8f/resourceGroups/vMXTrialResourceGrouptdyyowwjh4xf2'. (Code: DenyAssignmentAuthorizationFailed)

Is there a way to start the vmx as needed and the stop it?

Regards

Hi @ccicali , as previously posted yesterday on a separate post the underlying vmx host is locked down so you won’t be able to shut it down or even reboot it

can you reach out to Meraki support to request the shutdown and bring back online when required
