Can I use Cisco router on Meraki SD-WAN

Hi everyone,

Can I use existing Cisco routers to join Meraki SD-WAN?

Or the WAN device must be Meraki MX appliance in order to utilize Meraki SD-WAN?

Cheers

You need to define "Meraki SD-WAN".

If you are asking if a Cisco router can connect to a Meraki MX as a downstream layer 3 device, sure thing.

If you are asking if a Cisco router can participate in the Meraki AutoVPN mesh as an active hub, then no.

You can use various layer 2/3 switches and routers with Meraki equipment, but the AutoVPN feature is a "Meraki only" thing.

The answer is no. Meraki has its own portfolio and has different segment of users. What are your use cases and requirements. May be I can recommend based on your requirements
