Example: Can I put ".gov" (without the quote marks) to allow anything .gov?
Never tried that, but according to https://documentation.meraki.com/MX/Content_Filtering_and_Threat_Protection/URL_Filtering ist could work out.
You can try *gov.*
From what I've read it should work.
Also I believe if you use *.gov in content filtering, it will take the asterisk as a literal rather than a wildcard.
It only acts as a wildcard when used on its own as a catch all
After testing, ".gov" works.
