AnyConnect VPN Connection on MX Terminations

Is there a way to terminate all Anyconnect VPN sessions on a nightly basis say 3:00 am. I know you can configure the session timeout but not every one connects at the same time.

Thanks

Meraki currently does not provide a built-in way to automatically terminate all AnyConnect VPN sessions on a scheduled basis via the Dashboard or API.

In this case, I suggest you make a feature request.

I am not a Cisco Meraki employee. My suggestions are based on documentation of Meraki best practices and day-to-day experience.

Please, if this post was useful, leave your kudos and mark it as solved.

If you are using AnyConnect, would the session timeout achieve what you want?

If you set it to something like 12 hours, it would guarantee that the session would be terminated after that much time had elapsed.  It wouldn't happen at a specific time, like 3 am, but it would prevent people from remaining connected 24 hours.

You could leverage the API to disable the AnyConnect service and re-enable it every night at 3am 😁

One more way to do it, create a group policy for client machine to disconnect the AnyConnect VPN during the timeframe.
