Payload Does Not Match the Old Payload

Our Apple MDM push certificate expired. We renewed and upload the new certificate but now none of our devices are checking in. When trying to install an updated profile we get the error "Profile Installation Failed. The new MDM payload does not match the old payload." We are also unable to uninstall the old MDM profile as our settings do not allow the removal of it. Please help.

@FMB  Owch, if your push cert expired because you didnt renew it in time your only option is to factory reset all devices and set them up again.

I read somewhere that support can upload the old license so that all the devices can reconnect. Not sure how I can get this accomplished since we are on the free plan.

@FMB Ah free = no support, your only option will be to setup all of the devices again. Apple do send expiry notifications so it might pay to make sure you are abl to receive these notifications.
