MacOS device restrictions/application management in MDM

Hi all,

I'm managing Macbook Airs through the MDM, and there doesn't seem to be a way to remove applications from MacOS devices (it only appears to work for iOS and Android). I can see all of the installed Apps for each device but the option to remove isn't there.  Does anybody have any suggestions for this, and placing restrictions on MacOS devices in general? Seems to be very limited.

Thanks.

All of out Macs are tied to JumpCloud for AD. This allows us to run a script every time it checks with our AD server. I have a script that finds if the application is open and quits it and then tells the user that the software is restricted. Meraki does not do much with Mac OS management, just really push down profiles.
