Change iOS app name through MDM

Hello,

Is there a way to change an apps name as it appears on devices through Meraki MDM?  We would like to change the SharePoint app from saying "SharePoint" below it to a term our less tech savvy users would recognize as our internal site.

Thank you for your help.

@kneuw  No this isn't possible. Allowing this would be dangerous as it would mean people could spoof legitimate apps.

Hi @kneuw ,

I can also confirm, along with @BlakeRichardson, that this is not possible.

If you have a local development team, they could create you a new private app with a name/icon of your choice which simply link's to open the SharePoint app. For a developer this would be a very, very easy job (coding 30 mins, icon work depends on team doing it).

Thank you,

Peter James

Instead of using the app you could create a Web Clip and name it what ever you want and add any icon to it.
