Allowing multiple owners on a tablet

Backstory:

I have been setting up multiple Android tablets with Meraki. The tablets will only be used for an hour and then placed back on charge and later that day used by another student.

The school uses Google Docs and I've had problems allowing multiple students to sign into their Google Docs.

Each time you load up Google Docs in Google Chrome, it gets a little upset I'm not using the Google Docs app and won't allow me to simply sign-in via Chrome

What I would like:

A simple guide on adding multiple owners to Android tablets?

Why is Google Chrome not allowing me to open the Google Docs website, and is there a way to bypass this issue?

When using Android tablets in a shared environment like a school, adding multiple "owners" isn't supported natively on most Android versions. Android typically allows one device owner and optionally a few user profiles, but managing multiple rotating users (like students) isn't ideal without a full enterprise mobility management (EMM) setup. With Meraki, you can configure the tablets as single-use or kiosk devices, but they are not designed for dynamic multi-user logins.
