MS225 wich Stacking Cable - different answers Datasheet tells only 40G - accesorie guide tells diff

Hi,

my customer wants to stack MS225 switches with 10G.

The Meraki Datasheet says only 40 G -MA-CBL-40G-1M /3M are supported.

meraki_datasheet_ms225.pdf (cisco.com)

The accessorie guide tells another thing.

SFP and Stacking Accessories - Cisco Meraki

MA-CBL-TA-3M OK for MS225

MA-CBL-TA-1M not ok for MS225

The customer tells me he as allready MS225 in use and a stack with MA-CBL-TA-1M and MA-CBL-TA-5M

Can anybody help.

Can we still use the MA-CBL-TA-1M/3/5

Thanks

Sven

The MS225 stacking ports are QSFP+ ports, so 10Gb cables will not fit as they have SFP+ connectors on them.

@cmr is correct.  The 10Gbe connectivity options are for the four uplink ports on the front to connect to other switches, servers, etc.  The two stacking ports are on the back.

There is no Meraki 5m passive TwinAx cable - MA-CBL-TA-5M.  This part does not exist.
