LAN devices lockup every 30 seconds for 15 seconds

LAN devices lockup every 30 seconds for 15 seconds, with or without Internet. We swap out the Meraki with an off the shelf Nighthawk router and no lockups. Not sure what else to try. Thanks.

Do you have a design what hardware you use and how all is connected? 

Is your lan running spanning tree? And how is that configured

It's an Audio Video server with a Static IP, such as https://www.rticontrol.com/xp-8v-control-processor.html

The NW person won't give up what the settings are, unfortunately.

I assume you are using an MX product. How many devices are running through this and has the right size appliance being used?  Video uses large amounts of bandwidth and if you haven't scoped the right size MX you are going to run into bottlenecks.

Thank you. It's only a few Static IP devices. No Video over IP traffic, and mostly IR and serial commands.
