I joined Cisco in 2005 (just celebrating my 20th anniversary here in July 2025). I have had the roles of Systems Engineer, Consulting SE, and in 2015 I changed roles internally to be a Technology Solutions Architect on the Cisco Meraki team. I was there when the Meraki Community first kicked off, and several years later still excited to participate and be a part of such a useful, impactful and friendly community forum.
I am currently on the Public Sector team as a Solutions Engineer for Cisco/Meraki switching and wireless in the NYC/NJ area, with my technical focus on wireless and I serve internally as one of several "wireless ninjas" (that's what the Community ninja badge is for).
On the personal side, I'm married since 2001 and have one daughter, one son, and our dog Molly. In my spare time away from work and technology, I am an avid motorcyclist. I am a road captain for my local riding club, and I have also done several long distance challenge rides to raise money for charity. I am a certified SCUBA diver (although it has been a couple years since logging some bottom time) and I have practiced multiple styles of martial arts for over 35 years. I became an internationally certified instructor and reached the title of Master and rank of 4th Dan in Kenpo and a style of Jiu-jitsu. Sometimes I joke that's what my Ninja badge is also for, haha."
