I have been working for Meraki for a little over 3 years but have worked with Meraki products for the last 10 years. I worked in the field as an IT technician, which gives me a unique perspective when troubleshooting issues with our devices. Network support engineers investigate issues across the whole Meraki stack, so each day is unique. We never know what the next phone call or email might be about for our devices or dashboard!

My background and interests have varied, even as far back as in college. I have degrees in engineering, but not specifically for networking! I have always loved working on computers and picked up networking after college. Since then, I have expanded into other related fields, which has gone hand in hand with case work for Meraki. I have dabbled in coding (using Python and Ruby), and created an application to help assist me with my previous job as an IT technician using Google API. As a result, I really like working with our own Meraki API and more generally investigating UI related issues with the Meraki dashboard."
