Archiving policy

What's the archiving policy in community.meraki.com and what's the point? I've seen topics ~3yrs old that are already gone. As a knowledge base this sucks. This is basically a ticketing system now.

From what I can see, articles that were once correct but are no longer tend to get archived.

This often happens with GUI redesigns and changes in functionality.

I can see one of my posts from 2017 is still around, so it is not a flat time limit.

Hi @irving_leonard

Our archiving is based on a combination of the age of the post, the number of views it has received recently, the number of recent replies, and our knowledge of the accuracy of the information. Philip is right that there isn't a strict time limit on the age of the posts. If you happen to have links to posts that we have archived that you wish weren't archived, please post them here and we'll consider reinstating them. Thanks!
