VLAN's unique identifier

Hello,

I need an immutable reference to VLAN objects in Meraki. I was initially using VLAN id but see now that it can be changed. Would you recommend using interfaceId instead? It doesn't seem to change no matter what I do but the documentation around the field is a bit lacking (just looking at the schema here).

Thanks

I don't think you have many options.

I am not a Cisco Meraki employee. My suggestions are based on documentation of Meraki best practices and day-to-day experience.

True. But is interfaceId intended as a unique immutable identifier for VLANs?

The documentation is not clear about this, but as you said, you noticed that there was no change, so everything leads us to believe that there was.

I would check with support to be sure.
