Location Data

Location Data

Good afternoon!

I request was brought to us on Friday about possible device location data. I see we do have the option enabled and the dashboard gives high-end info. Is it possible to get more specific data about the devices just through a normal API call and not have to setup a whole server for the data to be push to from the dashboard?

If not can someone point me to a good document on the setup and configuration of said server?

Thanks in advance!

Ed

The API Index only lists 4 endpoints for locationScanning.

Not sure if you can get the data you want via the API

Yeah it looks like it only gives the settings and/or where data is being pushed to.....have you used the Location API v3 options yet? I am not sure where to start with the setting configuring the web server to receive the updates from the Meraki Cloud. Any info you can share?

Are you talking about Systems Manager, or WiFi?
