Location API wrong coordinates

Hi dear community!

I'm getting data from location API and then graph the client historical into my own heatmap, however in some cases location coordinates are wrong and report location close to san fransico california (I think that is a location by default maybe close to cisco office).

I'm using  API v2

Have all the devices generating location data been correctly placed on the map?

I think any 'stray' ones may default to the SF area.

I'm going to guess that @sungod is correct, and something has either not had its address set on the network page, or has not been placed on the map.

Also, note the uncertainty field you get.  You may choose to ignore samples with large uncertainty.  Another way is to ignore samples with a weak signal strength.

Actually I don't have access to meraki GUI :c only API. It's posible see if my devices are correctly placed in the map through API?

You can use https://developer.cisco.com/meraki/api-v1/#!get-device to get a device's coordinates.
