Dev hub issue

Happy New Year everyone,

I am trying to use the Dev Hub API to check the API requests for my org to troubleshoot an issue but the Auth header seems to be greyed out so I ant put my key in 😞

I tried just adding a new Auth field but it didn't work. Any idea what the issue is?

1 Accepted Solution

Add 'X-Cisco-Meraki-API-Key' as another Header

I'll add that this might only work temporarily as the goal is to not allow user's API keys to be entered into the site for security reasons.

I believe this is due to what's mentioned here under point #4

I can see point 4

API interactive Documentation update

  • Improved security by providing test keys to run request against the API and restricting user sensitive API keys to be pasted in the documentation.

but i cant see any actual information about it - if they are using some test keys - how come it doesn't work? Is there something specific i am supposed to do?

cheers

And the test key idea if to only allow certain calls to work against the sandbox org. Example this call https://developer.cisco.com/meraki/api-v1/get-organizations/
