We are announcing the deprecation of the Meraki Dashboard API OpenAPI Specification version 2 as we transition to the enhanced and more robust OpenAPI Specification version 3 (OASv3). This update reflects our commitment to providing you with improved API capabilities, better developer experience, and more accurate data handling.
Key change:
Starting September 1, 2026, updates to the Meraki OpenAPI Specification version 2 (OASv2) on GitHub (https://github.com/meraki/openapi) will cease. The last version of OASv2 will remain available to users, but all subsequent updates will be made exclusively to OASv3.
What this means for you:
- All API operations will keep working as usual.
- If you are consuming our OpenAPI spec, we recommend migrating to OASv3 at your earliest convenience.
