Renaming Sites on Meraki Dashboard

I need to change the name of an organizational/site ID on Meraki Dashboard from "ABC" to "123." What is required to complete this task? Will the DNS, DHCP servers, or other systems be affected?

In the dashboard go to:

Organization > Configure > Settings under Organization Settings select Name to change "ABC" to "123."

No impact to DNS, DHCP or other systems...just the name of the Organization.

You would need to update any API references if using APIs after making changes to the org name.  And if using NMVPN you might want to double check your settings (if using NMVPN - IPSec VPN peers).

API references should not be affected. The API uses the organization ID, not the name. You cannot change the ID, but the name.

If you change the Network/Site name, make sure you don't reference that in the policies on your RADIUS server (if you use that).

You have me intrigued.  How can you reference the Meraki organisation name in RADIUS?

Not the org name, but the network name:
