Pulling device metrics out of Meraki Dashboard

Hello folks,

We are trying to get some utilization metrics out of the Meraki dashboard into Service Now, and we are coming up short getting the following:

  • Access Point Utilization over 85%
  • CPU/RAM Utilixation over 85%
  • Alerts for DHCP reservations higher than 85%

We have the webhook configured and are getting input from the system, but cannot find a way to gather the information above.

Any insight or ideas would be welcome!

Thanks!

@Default118 for the below:

  • Access Point Utilization over 85%
Do you mean CPU utilisation or something else? If so I don't think that is available.  If not, 85% or what?
  • CPU/RAM Utilisation over 85%
Is this for MXs or MSs or something else?
  • Alerts for DHCP reservations higher than 85%
Do you mean this, or assignations?  Either way I am not aware of a method of alerting on these.

- Yes, it would be CPU utilization for the AP's

- Correct, CPU/RAM utilization for the MS and MX

- Looking if there was a way to alert if the available address pool was 85% utilized or higher, to alert so we can address it

Thanks!

MX device utilisation can be seen on the summary report when you select an appliance network, not sure if it is available via API, but that might give you a steer:

That big bump is taking the network from 19.1.7.2 to 19.1.8... 🤔

Hi @Default118,

Happy to confirm the following API endpoints can be utilized for utilization and CPU/Memory values:

Hope this helps 🙂
