Organization Alerts vs. Network Alerts

Curious how one affects the other. Anyone have experience to share? Googles not turning up much.

My main concern is blowing up the service desk, if I have alerts setup at the network level and a similar alert enabled at the org level am I going to get 2 emails?

There seem to be way more alerts on the Org side but it doesn't include all the alerts you can configure under network.

Trying to figure out if we will keep it at the network level (using the API to standardize across orgs) or use some combination of both.

Organization Alerts are managed centrally and offer more alert types, advanced features, and efficient targeting across networks.

Network Alerts are configured per network, providing granular control and some unique alert types, especially for Systems Manager.

If the same alert type is enabled at both levels, you may receive duplicate notifications.  Each configuration acts independently and will trigger its own notification if the alert condition is met.

Basically, you have the same alerts, but the organization-level alerts are more flexible; you can even create profiles.

So, if you want to receive alerts from all networks without having to configure each one individually, configure the alerts at the organization level.

Only use network-level for alerts not supported at the org level.

Thank you! We will have to figure out which alerts match up with which (some dont have the exact same naming but seem like they are the same)

and work on that portion of automation as well.
