Not receiving verification text msg

Hello. - First post so be gentle! 

 

When trying to sign into the dashboard, I am not receiving the verification code (by text msg). I have tested my mobile device to ensure it is not that at fault  - it isn't i can receive texts from other sources. 

 

Is this a common issue, what would the workaround be?.

I have set my account to use the Google Authenticator instead of text message for exactly this reason. With the authenticator you always have the code ready.

 

To set it up (once logged in) go to your profile and click on the appropriate smartphone type:

I think I remember seeing posted in the past that depending what country you are in this can have issues. 

 

As @cmr suggest using an authenticator app is a lot more reliable.

TXTing is mostly a US-centric feature.  If you are in a different country, you can't rely on it to work.
