Meraki Videowall Fullscreen mode

Is there a way to automatically load the video wall in full screen mode without user intervention? We are finding the video wall is dropping out of full screen mode throughout the day and we would like to load directly in to full screen and maybe force a reload of the webpage periodically.

We've been looking for something similar. Right now we are testing out a Minix Atom based Windows 10 home solution. Basically, we are going to mount it behind an HDMI TV, and have it set to automatically log in/start up Chrome, and go to the Dashboard with a limited camera only view account. It isn't perfect, but without RTSP or a dedicated appliance, the best we can do. Tried a Raspberry PI, but the GPU support is awful and it choked.

We are using Windows 10 Intel compute sticks due to the compact size. We are launching Chrome in Kiosk mode but unfortunately have to click the Fullscreen button to get the desired effect.

Would be nice to see Meraki come up with a solution for this so users don’t have to rig something up to get this to work.

Has anyone found a solution for this?

I am thinking about creating something. Would you be okay with just an EXE and a config file with Video Wall URL, username and password stored in it?

One of the challenges I am coming up against is a good way to securely store the password but still have the Video Wall Auto Login.

Thoughts / Ideas?
