IPSEC VPN is not working in Android
Hey guys,
I have encountered several issues with the MX 105 firewall. We are unable to access the IPSEC VPN on any Android devices. I contacted the Cisco team, and after analyzing the issue, they reviewed and confirmed that Android 12 and above will support IPSEC VPN. However, when trying to use the same credentials on Android 10, it doesn't work.

Hey there,
Are you using Client VPN or Anyconnect to connect your devices to the MX105?
Client VPN uses L2TP and Anyconnect uses Cisco Proprietory VPN protocols (TLS/DTLS) so neither use IPSEC VPN.
I know that newer versions of Android (13+) no longer have L2TP support.
If your using Android 10 and still cant connect through ClientVPN then I would suggest going through this KB, then opening a ticket if your still having issues.

Thanks for reaching out. What is the purpose of buying a Cisco firewall? We have many Android and iOS devices, but employees are having issues with VPN. if it is another option please let me know.
