C9300 switch in not onboarding to Meraki Dashboard

Hi All,

I tried to onboard a C9300 switch to Meraki Dashboard. It was passed all the steps in the onboarding app but hanging in the onboarding step and looping the log "Waiting for device to be available". After analyzing the switch config with a successfully added switch (C9200) I noticed below config are missed in the C9300 switch.

01) There is no IP assigned to the loopback 1000 interface 

interface Loopback1000
description Meraki TLS Connection
no ip address

02 Below config set is missing in C9300 but in C9200 which was successfully onboarded

device-tracking policy MERAKI_POLICY
security-level glean
no protocol udp
tracking enable

Any workaround to onboard the C9300 to the Meraki Dashboard ?

I wouldn't suggest manually adding configuration to align them.

If it's a greenfield deployment, you could try starting from scratch.

But definitely open a Meraki support case.

I would check the IOS-XE version, current recommendations :

Running IOS-XE 17.3 - 17.10.1

Running IOS-XE 17.12.3

Newer is probably going to be better.

Failing that, try giving the C9300 a reboot.
