Meraki Health is Meraki’s built-in assurance solution, which uses machine learning in combination with cloud analytics to provide end-to-end network infrastructure assurance and visibility. Today, new additions to Meraki Health include:
Alerts with smart thresholds
Sticky client detection
Access point onboarding and performance scores
Client onboarding and performance scores
These new updates are designed to make it easier to identify underperforming access points or clients, solve sticky client issues more quickly, and trigger alerts by implementing anomaly detection by using Meraki machine learning models.
To access alerts with smart thresholds, navigate to Network Wide > Alerts.
To access sticky client detection, navigate to Network Wide > Clients > History.
To monitor access point performance, navigate to Wireless > Access points. Ensure that ‘Onboarding’ and ‘Performance’ are selected from the toolbar.
To view client performance, navigate to Network Wide > Clients. Ensure that ‘Onboarding’ and ‘Performance’ are selected from the toolbar.
These capabilities are available as of today for Wi-Fi 6 and 802.11ac Wave 2 access points with MR 27.X firmware. For more information, please see the technical documentation for Meraki Health and Alerts.

Hi Community, We just released a brand new Wi-Fi CERTIFIED 6 Meraki access point: MR44. It will provide an excellent option for office, school, hospital, retail, and hotel use-cases looking to provide modern high-performance Wi-Fi 6 but don't quite have the density that requires MR46 or MR56. Highlights of MR44 below: 2.4GHz: 2 x 2 multiple input, multiple output (MIMO) with two spatial streams 5GHz: 4 x 4 multiple input, multiple output (MIMO) with four spatial streams Power over Ethernet: 42.5 - 57 V (802.3at) or 37 - 57 V (802.3af) - low power mode 3 Gbps aggregate frame rate (with concurrent 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz radios) 100/1000/2.5G BASE-T Ethernet

Meraki recently updated its network analytics capabilities with Meraki Health solutions, allowing for holistic network-wide health monitoring. Previously, wireless connectivity and performance analytics were available under Wireless > Monitor > Wireless Health. Today, these metrics have been merged into the Wireless > Monitor > Access points page, under a tab called 'Health'. Additionally, this section features a 'Map' tab and 'Connection log' tab.

@cmr The MR46 in this case was used as the parent platform. Since there are shared hardware components across models, they can be certified this way. For example, MR46 and MR86 core components are the same, but have trivial differences from certification perspective with outdoor enclosure and antennas. You'll see the same across older models & platforms as well. Hope that answers your question!

Hi Community, We will release a blog post about this later in the week, but wanted to give the community a heads up that our website was just updated, and reflects a brand new set of Wi-Fi 6 APs! If you payed close attention to recent firmware upgrade notes, you may have already spotted them. The MR46E, MR76, and MR86 will provide the ability to deploy Wi-Fi 6 to indoor, outdoor, and focused wireless environments. They will be available starting May 19, 2020. Highlights: MR86 is an IP67 rated, rugged 4×4:4 Multigigabit access point, with a 3.5 Gbps max data rate for high-density outdoor environments MR76 is an IP67 rated, rugged outdoor 2×2:2 access point with 1.7 Gbps max data rate The MR46E is a 4×4:4 Multigigabit access point, 3.5 Gbps max data rate, with automatically-detectable external antennas. MR46E can re-use the same external antennas as MR53E. New troubleshooting capabilities with deeper insights and analytics into wireless performance metrics New security capabilities with WPA3, Adaptive Policy enablement, Identity PSK w/o RADIUS Other included firmware updates include MQTT, Local Authorization, and NBAR support In recent months, outdoor and focused Wi-Fi installations have become even more important. Schools have been trying to provide outdoor Wi-Fi in parking lots, pop-up healthcare facilities want to provide outdoor access, and retail locations are seeing an increase in outdoor installations as they start opening back up their stores. Are others seeing the same impacts?

All three of the newest Meraki Wi-Fi 6 APs are now Wi-Fi CERTIFIED 6™. You can find the products listed here. MR36: Cisco’s first 2×2 Wi-Fi 6 access point MR46 is our newest 4×4 Wi-Fi 6 access point MR56 is our best-in-class 8×8 Wi-Fi 6 access point These access points feature the capabilities of Wi-Fi 6 that will help propel organizations to the future of connectivity with immense performance and capacity improvements. (UL/DL OFDMA, UL/DL MU-MIMO, TWT, BSS Color, WPA3) From our Director of Product Management, Jayanthi Srinivisan: "Our world is becoming increasingly hyper-connected, and what gets me really excited about Wi-Fi 6, beyond the huge improvements in capacity and performance is the support for 2.4 GHz band and the power consumption improvements. With the Wi-Fi Alliance and the Wi-Fi CERTIFIED 6 certification program, we can ensure peak performance for all devices with next-generation WPA3 security, no matter the use case. Whether for a factory, a stadium, or an office building, Cisco Meraki customers can be confident that deploying a Wi-Fi 6 network will deliver a secure, simple and superlative experience.”

@BrechtSchamp Thanks for pointing out the "compatible" in the tech specs. That's a typo I am going to fix
@NolanHerring was correct in saying they are certifiable. Stay tuned for more on that and WPA3. If customers want to try WPA3 now, they can enable via NFO

Hi Community, On October 22nd, at 10am PDT, we will have a live webinar with USGA about this year's U.S. Open Pebble Beach deployment at Pebble Beach. If you're not able to make it, you can read the blog here. Over 350+ Meraki APs were deployed across the 4-mile course, including the first test of Wi-Fi 6 at a major sporting event for some of the high density areas. Hope to see you there! There will be a live Q&A towards the end with the opportunity to ask a few questions over the Webex.
