Careful, group scheduling is not working at the moment. My group policy scheduling in the Dashboard stopped working last week, and when I called support, I was told it's a known issue with many reported tickets. No ETA for a rollback, and no more information was known as to the cause. I have a simple network all on stable firmware and tried all the troubleshooting actions, short of RMA.

Looking a bit closer, I now have 802.11x auth fail messages for a chromebook, which should not be effected by 802.11r as adaptive.

Either it's something to do with how the Meraki implements the tagging of the 802.11r messages, or 802.11r really does use a RADIUS message. I'm trying to understand why the RADIUS even messages are showing, and showing failed auth messages in Wireless Health>Failed Connections. Disabling 802.11r can make them stop, but from my research there is no connection between 802.11r and RADIUS servers. Even Meraki support can't figure out why (yet). From what I can tell, the devices are spinning on failed auth attemps, delaying their wifi connections. Sometimes it's very quick and not-noticeable, but other times it's minutes causing user frustration. Hope that helps.

Yes, packet capture (monitor mode) has been done and sent to Meraki support about a week ago for investigation. First line support sees the RADIUS related info, but doesn't know why. Here's a link to it. Packet Capture

Agreed on the roaming and thought of that too, but I can’t find any information that 802.11r adaptive is related to RADUIS without RADIUS server configured with 892.11x.

Meraki support can't explain this (they are investigating), so thought I would ask here: No radius server setup in dashboard, but event Log has many Radius server entries with iPhones, see screen shots. Any idea why the event log entries?

I have an open Meraki case for the same Wireless Health Packet Latency only showing Best Effort Traffic. We did all sorts of troubleshooting and trial/error, and still an open issue for Meraki in beta at 30+ days.

Thank you for the reply, and I wish it was that simple. Not the password, as one of the devices is my phone that works online just fine. I just reset the network settings, including save SSID and password. Re-connected to SSID (successful), but entries continue, as there are two auth fails after after the reset.

In Wireless Health, I keep seeing red for AP connection issues, and when I click on them, I see hundreds of these messages within the last hours, by various clients and APs. Called Meraki support and they didn't know if it's a problem or not, so thought I would ask here. Searched and reviewed Meraki documentation too. We do have some of the clients claiming they have short periods of time where they are not able to get online, but then the problem clears up. Are these just normal messages as part of authentication, even moving from AP to AP?

Typical scenario - MX showing Live Uplink traffic scrolling across screen at max download speed of WAN connection. Knowing the dashboard well, with limits in place, etc. I want to know who the offending clients (wired and wireless) that are using up all the bandwidth - is this possible? - Security Appliance shows live uplink traffic - Switch shows per switch per client historically. - Wireless shows live clients traffic per AP - I want across all clients (wired and wireless)

This topic comes up enough that it would be beneficial for Meraki to include some information in the documentation and/or specs. There are different types of fans, software is involved, some power supplies have fans, some fans are removable, noise levels, etc.
