Hi Team I would just like to make sure that i am reading the below correctly, once you have multiple orgs you wont be able to use auto-vpn, that is my general understand, you will have to use non-meraki site-to-site vpn Multi-Organization Considerations SD-WAN Each organization represents a separate SD-WAN instance. Meraki SD-WAN is implemented through use of Meraki Auto VPN technology. Auto VPN is an extremely low-touch solution for creating SD-WAN networks, by automatically networking all sites in a single organization. Because of this, multi-organization deployments are also multi-SD-WAN-domain deployments. Usually this is preferred for customers with needs for multiple organizations, but it should be noted in design.

so from what i can gather from below, the dhcp is working and it is changing every day as the lease time is set to 1 day. So if you want to give a machine a static ip, you would give them an ip address in the 192.168.1.0/24 range

does he want to create a site-to-site vpn? he might be looking for your public address, which might be static or dynamic depending on your ISP. Please try and get as much info as possible

then you can give him a static address in the range/vlan he needs. so if you MX is 192.168.8.1 and your first pc is 192.168.8.2 and your printer is 192.168.8.3 these should all work fine. Then if you need to add another device on the network, you give them an address in the same subnet e.g 192.168.8.4 otherwise keep the address assignment to dhcp, and they will get assigned an address automatically and what is he asking the static address for? for new device on the same network?

if it is wireless the below doc explains it well https://documentation.meraki.com/MR/Client_Addressing_and_Bridging/SSID_Modes_for_Client_IP_Assignment#Bridge_Mode If your devices are plugging directly to the mx ports under dhcp setting you have the option to run the specific subnet as DHCP or tell the MX not to respond to DHCP request and assign them statically on your devices, in my case my subnet is 192.168.8.0/24

The DHCP assignment wont break your network, the DHCP lease period dictates when the IP addresses change So when the IP's change, everything should still work

You can use both DHCP or Static addressing DHCP - easier to assign addresses because its not manual its automatic Static- if you have a small network and want granular control you can statically assign addresses

this is an answer to the second question i go from CIsco There is a closed beta currently! If there is a customer or you that want to try Anyconnect you can speak with your dedicated Meraki SE and he/she will submit a request to the product team. Participation in the beta is up to the PM team's discretion and there are certain prerequisites that need to be met such as MX model.

I really enjoyed that CTF, wasted 2 hints which were unnecessary. But i really had fun, first time playing around with APIs, slept at 2am but i managed to finish, the Proctors were a great help to. we need level 3 and onward

In usual times after the license is expired your customer has 30 day grace period to renew the licence. after 30 days the only access they have to the dashboard is the license page. But as specified above at the moment there is a COVID-19 disablement of the license enforcement

i just did a simple network scan using nmap on kali linux on one of my sites shouldnt this type of scan be considered as intrution? nothing shows up in the event log and nothing under security center also below is if i do a scan on my home mx but within the lan in my mind i wouldnt want anyone whether external or internal to be able to run scans

the first option was to buy everyone a Z3 but this are out of stock User span accros Africa and forcing them to install the Umbrella roaming client will be a mission, but this is an idea but wont be easy tracking user activity. Meraki MDM? does it give u what time the user logged in and what they did? this could be an option and enroll every user device. DUO is only available in 3 countries in Africa
