@RaphaelL Yes the painfully slow loading is getting very old. The fact you cant disable it under early access makes it worse, either give me the option to turn it off or disable the old version.

I have a video wall that is 3x4 with only 10 cameras added and on my Mac Mini M2 Pro with all of the devices wired I get a small amount of buffering happening. I was using Safari for my testing with MacOS 14.7.5 Some things to bear in mind 1. How are the cameras connected to the network, POE switch or Injector and what link speed. 2. How many hops between switches until the cameras get to the Mac mini? 3. What resolution have you got the cameras set at? 4. Have you run a packet capture to ensure nothing odd is happening on the network?

I would open a support ticket, it doesn't matter what vendor of AP's or firewall you are using because you have a cloud managed switch in the mix that is what captures your client information. I suspect it's a firmware issue because it was working before you applied the new firmware.

I often find when I login (from the same computer) that the version of my dashboard changes between the old and new versions. I often see the issue with Network-wide>Clients and Systems Manager>Devices. I've tried clearing browser caches but it makes no difference. Is anyone else having this problem? On a similar note how long are the UI devs going to keep the old version active for, surely the line in the sand is near?

I would start by mapping out the network i.e. physically but also logically. What VLANS you have and how everything routes. If it's a layer 3 network I would have a look at Inter-LAN firewall rules and make sure they are needed and remove any unused rules working with least privilege principle. Also check your WAN>LAN and LAN>WAN rules to make sure they are nice and secure.

I've spoken to support about this but they were unable to find a problem. When me or a colleague enrol a device in SM the device can taken anywhere from 15 minutes to half an hour day to appear in the device list. This is affecting iOS and tvOS devices. Devices are all loaded into Apple ADE. Is anyone else having these problems?

@cmr I have the same issue and have not been able to resolve either. I was thinking the same thing with trying a MV73 when the next round of cameras are being replaced but if that doesn't fix the issue I will be looking alternative vendors. The cameras I have are to protect staff and the hundreds of false positives are useless.

Thanks for sharing, I guessed this was a part of the bigger picture change, it's just frustrating that it's made a simple process difficult. Meraki becoming more aligned with the Cisco Juggernaut was bound to happen at some point.

Yeah it's not great and is just more admin work. The old process was simple, I am guessing the changes are due to Meraki sales being more aligned with Cisco's systems.

Not sure about anyone else but are others having issues with the new order confirmation emails? My dashboard will not accept the software order claim key, it reports it as invalid. The claim full order button just links to https://acount.meraki.com which seems misleading, I would have thought it would be a unique URL to claim the entire order but I guess not. IMO the new method isn't great, splitting software licensing and hardware into seperate emails just means more emails.

I've seen the topology go a bit weird when you have non-Meraki gear in the mix. Also if you have equipment from one network connected to equipment in another that can draw oddly as well.

Yeah, in this instance it seems like notifications were added in simplistic form and has been forgotten about. I would have thought in their own internal testing they would have found the current method lacking.

@ZachL54 glad you have it sorted but I would suggest using ADE if you can, it makes the enrolment process much easier. All you need to do it provide your ABM organisation ID to your Apple authorised reseller and they can have the devices loaded into ADE at the time of purchase.

Hi All One area that I manage needs to have SMS alerts as staff are often not in front of a computer but need to be alerted to security concerns ASAP. Emails aren't reliable because if someone is walking and hears an email notification on their phone they are less likely to check it compared to a SMS alert. Also recipients being granular per camera would be a nice feature as different buildings have different staff. Alert notifications could be associated with the camera profiles.
