Digital Transformation means alot to the organization am working for, we are able to monitor the uptime/downtime in real time and be able to resolve problems within the SLA given time. It helps us to share information with partners residing in different region(s) in real time and discus things on a round table via digitised equipment eg VoIP, Conferencing. We are able to monitor our work if we making a difference and incease productivity. This is why i really need to do a course in Meraki and SD-WAN, i see it as another step to Digital Transformation to transform productivity in our company.

Its exciting though i will not receive the prize but thanks to you all Meraki Community for making it happen. Thanks for your reply, my thought is mainly based on the evolution of technology, clients are looking for more easier way of doing things but secure at the same time. For intstance we have a client(a corporate) that have thousands of workers, its not easy to put security personnel at the gate to open and close booms/ gates. Fortunately, WiseNet has IR Cameras that we integrate with the ZKteco, the camera detects the number plate and triggers the boom to open. For visitors, they use a nother gate that is managed by security personnel. From what we do at the moment, i was very excited when i saw that Cisco Meraki is now have cameras as well. I trust Cisco as one of the Cisco Certified technician Routing and Switching, and thought this will be a big Bang! No matter how small it is, it is possible to make Cisco Meraki cameras super, what is needed is to engage with the software developers and the harware to look into what customers needs. If cisco will continue making ordinary cameras it will not be a success.

I agree with you. As long as we all know that software can be used to enhance camera usage at home or in production environmet, these cameras can work together with IoT. Manufacturers wants to be monitoring what is happening in certain areas hazardous of heat, chemical reactions, etc where alot of activities are hapening, a camera should also detect a temperature and movement heat. That is why i suggest Cisco Meraki cameras should be redesigned to conquer advanced security. Basic security is already covered by these other types of camers. Tk make me go buy cisco meraki cameras it must be having other features that cannot be found into other cameras

Cisco should come up with cameras that can have multifunctional settings to give us a highly productive on security. We do not need to install extra alarms, beams or also carrying gate remote, the camera should control your gate when you drive in or out and or ope your garage when you drive in. It should not be an ordinary cameras because there are so many ordinary cameras out there. We need to avoid too much cabling on premises, that is why i suggest advanced cameras that should be multifunctional.

It is awesome that there is Cisco Meraki Cameras, as an installer i will give a try. And i suggest you should be making cameras that can be a beam, alarm and can send sms/snapshot/email as an alert in real time.
