Anyone know an ETA for when RADIUS accounting might be available for MX devices? It seems something I would have assumed was already in there, but it isn't 😞

Is there a way through the API to get the MAC of a device that shows up nearby? For example, setup an AP that's just listening and obtaining MAC of nearby clients. I can see devices in the location heatmap and live presence, but can't find a way in the API documentation that allows me to find this detail. Thanks in advance

I would need to better understand how the AP's are placed in the network topology to be able to give advice on this. Usually, bad IP assignment is related to VLAN's on the ports where the AP's are plugged in or incorrectly configured DHCP to the AP's, however as they are set with Static IP's, I guess it's not DHCP.

Set a VLAN on the external interface of that router that goes into the MX84 then set that port on the MX84 to have the same VLAN. Either that or use ACL's

What devices are you using? Is this even Meraki related? All Meraki configurations are stored on the Meraki cloud. It's pretty hard to lose it unless you delete all configurations from your devices.

You can whtielist devices that connect to the wireless, which will also remove the splash page for them. That's what I would try first anyway..

In the meraki dashboard, if you go to the access point in question under "wireless" and scroll to the bottom of the access point page, you can select to update that single AP's firmware.
