Has anyone successfully used a specific Ethernet adapter model with Meraki access points?

Hello everyone,

I'm currently working on a wireless environment built with Meraki MR42 and MR76 access points. I have a considerable number of non-wireless enabled devices that need to be connected to the network.

I'm looking for recommendations or experiences from anyone who has successfully used a specific Ethernet adapter model with Meraki access points.

I've come across the USB-C to Ethernet adapter for MV2 cameras, which provides both power and network connectivity when connected to a PoE switch. However, I'm specifically interested in Ethernet adapters that can be used with non-wireless devices.

If you have any insights, recommendations, or success stories regarding Ethernet adapters and Meraki access points, I would greatly appreciate your input. Please share the model of the Ethernet adapter you have used and any relevant details about its compatibility and performance.

Thank you in advance for your help!

Are you looking to plug end-user devices into the APs to provide wired connectivity? If so, you'll need the MR30H - https://meraki.cisco.com/en-uk/product/wi-fi/indoor-access-points/mr30h/ or the MR36H - https://meraki.cisco.com/en-uk/product/wi-fi/indoor-access-points/mr36h/

You can't plug a wired device into a normal AP.
