Find which firewall policy setting is blocking traffic



We have a Group Policy that applies a number of layer 3 & 7 firewall rules. We've found that one of the settings in this policy is blocking access to an element of a web platform that we use. Moving the devices to the Normal Group Policy allows them to connect as intended.


Are there any logs that show which firewall rule is blocking the traffic, or is it down to trial and error to find it? The event logs for the device only seem to show association and disassociation events.

Hi - have you tried filtering on security device events rather than client events in the Monitor > Event Log?
