account blocked on Meraki

Hello,

I'm the only administrator for my organization from Meraki dashboard. When i try to log in appears this "This account has been locked after too many failed login attempts. Contact your network administrator(s).". I tried to call Meraki support but they asked me about my customer number. I didn't know my customer number, and i can't find it because my account is locked.

Some here can help me about how i can request that Meraki unlock my administrator account from my organization.

If no other administrators of equal/greater access exist, please contact Cisco Meraki Support. For security purposes, Support may need to validate your identity before taking action.

It's the only way.

I am not a Cisco Meraki employee. My suggestions are based on documentation of Meraki best practices and day-to-day experience.

Please, if this post was useful, leave your kudos and mark it as solved.

For anyone reading this, this is why they recommend setting up two accounts.  Your main one and then a backup account which could be your own personal email account for example.

I would try again with support.

I'm not an employee of Cisco/Meraki. My posts are based on Meraki best practice and what has worked for me in the field.

the other account was from a user who left the organization. And there is no way to access that account.

I wrote to support@meraki.com and they helped me

Add their old email address as an alias to your email account, then do a password reset.
