Uplink statistics Configured on Template Level

Hello Community,

We have set up connectivity tests (refer to the example image below) to our ISP PE IP address due to intermittent packet loss issues. Despite replacing the MX and inspecting cables, the problem persists.

My concern/question pertains to the network experiencing packet loss being linked to a template.

The connectivity tests can only be configured per template and not per network. Since the template encompasses 200+ networks, am I correct in assuming that I have 200 networks attempting to ping the PE IP simultaneously and possibly causing a problem?

Yes, for networks attached to a template you need to make the change on the template thereby affecting all networks.

If it's your ISP PE, they will most likely have configuration setup to drop this type of ping traffic it is too much so as not to overwhelm the router from processing actual data plane traffic on the link.
